I went out this week with some old friends from way back, not so back, just three years and we had a couple of beers, watched a game, talked football and everything people do when they meet. What hit me most is how the conversation eventually turned to the guys who were not there.
I wouldn't call it gossiping because it was just casual idle talk about our friends back in the days. So i got updated on who is with who, who drives, who married, who got pregnant, and whoz kicking. It wasnt the first time people were updating me on my friend's where abouts and doings.
The shocking thing is that there are a couple of them I see time and again, the ones we go to church with, hang out but in real sense you know nothing about them completely until you meet some old friends most of them guys and they tell you that so and so is pregnant yet you just had lunch with the person.
So there's this friend, hot and all that..., we talk all the time on phone(thanks to Mr Mtn, that extra worked wonders) about the weather, the old days, her problems and with all that i thought i knew her but....on the boys day out, someone told us that a friend to her friend's best friend's friend told him that shez...................The names mentioned were real and turns out thats how those gals are.
And she has never mentioned it to me, yet i waste all my credit calling her to find out how she is and how shez holding up yet shez just playing with my mind. Dont get me wrong, its a freindly talk.
From that day, i dont miss the boys day out, you get to know lots of stuff about people, how people are suicidal, how he slept with a top model and who has plaited her hair three times in a week. Friends dont think i dont know what you are hiding from me, i know everything.
To be in the know, you dont have to get the information from the real source but from the sources around.

You mean you're just gonna saunter in like this after all this time without a what's up? Hmm, maybe I need to attend the UBHH's to know what's up!
whatever you found out seems to be disturbing.
